Her formal training is in the medical field, where she holds a Master of Science degree in Nurse-Midwifery. She has practiced as a registered nurse for over ten years. Additionally, she serves as the volunteer coordinator for DNA Doe Project and has used her medical expertise to advise on the effects of trauma for forensic facial approximations.
